Every Korhonen lamp is selected around its materials first: how they diffuse light, how they feel, and how they age in a home.
Wood
We favor solid woods and wood-look finishes in warm, natural tones — beech, walnut tones, and oak-style grains. Wood softens light and brings warmth to minimal rooms. Expect natural variation in grain and color between pieces; no two are identical.
Ceramic & glass
Ceramic shades and hand-finished glass diffuse light evenly and gently. Pierced ceramic creates patterned, starry light; opal and frosted glass produce a soft, even glow without glare.
Metal
Powder-coated and brushed metals form the structural backbone of many pieces in our collection — matte black, warm brass tones, and soft neutrals chosen to recede rather than dominate.
Light sources
Our lamps use LED light sources, most with warm color temperatures (2700–3500K) suited to living spaces. Many models offer multiple color temperatures or dimming — check each product page for exact specifications.
Honest by default
We publish the real specifications we have for each product on its page. If a detail matters to you and you don't see it listed, ask us — we'd rather check with the workshop than guess.
